I have often wondered what is life and why do we exist. We give meaning to life and to death with no proof whatsoever. There is an excuse though which always made me laugh ‘Its too grand to be perceived by inferior beings like ourselves.’ In my opinion we are chickening out for being afraid of the answer.

As humans we like ‘Hope’. That is why we have just assumed that we do have a purpose for being alive, just to get that hope. But then what the hell is that so called fabled purpose. No one can answer that. This confusion led to birth of something very troublesome ‘Religion’ and 'God'. Now everything made sense. Just put it on a higher being. You cannot explain something, why bother trying? There is a higher being that controls all. Everything is planned, already written in so called horoscopes, stars and all such stuff. That is really stupid made up crap. But as without hope there will be chaos, the very definition was accepted. All that was left was to lay down some rules, blame it on the so called God and there you go, chaos disappears. But the plan was effective, as it worked. Maybe too effective, its even working right now, enslaving everything and everyone. Idiots!

I do admire the person though, the one who came up with the concept of ‘God’. So simple yet elegant. Its very foundation is extracted from our inherent nature to look for the cause, the reason for occurrence of any event. And the notion of existence of a God is so simple to grasp that each piece of the puzzle called life just put itself into place and we could see the entire picture. Some higher entity created us, we live by its rule and and then in the end become one with it. In the end we are like machines with everything hardwired. So voila! Each anomaly explained. Again Idiots!

But since we are little rebels, we wanted more. I mean if we were to merge with this one eternal being everyone talks about then why bother following the rules. If the end is the same, why choose the same path as everyone else. Why choose peace and not violence? Just this one thought and the entire plan to avoid the chaos fell apart. Then came another savior, another genius stepped in and introduced the notion of afterlife, and there you go - the concepts of hell and heaven sprouted. And they were accepted. I really do not know why? Just think, you cannot even explain your own existence, you have no proof, just some arbitrary statements which keep modifying to fit the perception of Life, and you just blurt out something as afterlife. No proof, no observation, nothing. Just lay down your thoughts, spread them and it becomes the new trend. Just one rule, keep it simple that any mind can grasp it and there you go, it can now be comprehended by anyone so it will be accepted. After all lesser minds do rule as majority race.

This all is just bullshit. Its like people just ignore evolution. We ARE beings of evolution. We exist with no purpose. No matter how much you lie to yourself, what you think, in the end you are nothing. Just a tiny dot in the universe without any significance.

But there is a counter argument, another concept which no one understands and (I hate to say this) which actually is explained by the concept of ‘God’. And that is intelligence. I mean we are so proud of being an intelligent race. We are kidding our self, first we say that we as human beings have their life laid down till the very end by the higher entity (which can be replicated with a code given enough parameters but it doesn't make the program intelligent) and then we go and call our self intelligent.

Then again the concept was introduced so as to convince the gullible minds to live on in peace and make something out of life. I bet the person who came up with these notations did not think that these would hold on for so long and now it is literally impossible to uproot them. Human race would have been way ahead in technological aspects if just people gave a thought. I mean majority of the great minds of any century are held back with the notion of religion. Some even pursue myths. Why can’t they just leave them. They actually start losing trust in all that crap and move on to actual advancement but then someone finds some kind of proof and the cycle starts again. Of course someone will find something, after all these religions, these beliefs were started at one point. People are not that dumb. There had to be some sort of evidence. But no, why think like that. Just trust your ancestors and keep going. I weep for humanity.

We were not created by someone. We evolved from some gases reacting in space. It took bloody millions of years to reach to this level and we are still evolving. Don’t you all think that if we were created by someone, we would all be perfect, of course there would be diversity but there should be no evolution. But since the model of religion is itself made up, so came the notion that we are becoming closer and closer to our creator and this is our purpose.

There is no creator. Why can’t people just listen to logic. There is no ‘God’. There is no so called ‘Religion’.

We are beings of memory. We are born with nothing. “Knowing” nothing. We are in all sorts empty. We just keep seeing things, out brain represents in different forms and this is called upon by some action. Hence creating intelligence. All we think of, our intuition, our creativity, everything. It all is based on on simple notions. Our brain being imperfect links the current events to a series of events in the past and then jumble them, this is creativity. Take for example I ask a person to pick up a color from Blue, Pink and Green. I want you to really think about it. Just relax your mind, have a drink, just relax and think carefully before choosing. See now brain is in action. It starts forming link between the colors and the events in the past. If one can measure those exactly, they can ink down each of your choices. Now think and choose. See in this case, there is a high probability that you would have chosen Pink ( unless you have seen this experiment in white collar and knew what was happening, you would have chosen pink). See the explanation, i used the words drink, ink & think that rhyme with pink.

(At this point I cannot think of any better example! :P )

If you notice things like this, you will realize, there is no such thing as imagination, creativity. Everything is definite. Its how we are. We are not advanced. We are not intelligence. We just happen to store and recall everything. This is our life. In other words, our existence means nothing. We were born with no purpose, we go on to try to find it but it does not exist. Similarly, death is THE END. There is nothing beyond that. You just cease to exist, that is you call your current life some existence. In all essence you come to a halt. You stop creating new memories and stop recalling old ones either. It just ends.

See the scary part of having no purpose, the real meaning of life. Just imagine, you are nothing, you amount to nothing, you will become nothing. There is no meaning of emotion. No matter what kind of legacy you leave behind, it all becomes a part of large emptiness. Now that is frightening and kinda sad.

Many have known this for a long time. Just imagine the chaos if everyone was to believe this. After all are not rational creatures. Of course if they were rational they would have figures it out themselves.

This is the reason one should enjoy without worrying about others. Just do what you like. Enjoy. After all you only live once. YOLO!
